Q&A

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony starts at 3:00pm sharp. Please be there by 2:20pm so that you have enough time to grab a drink and get seated.

what do i need to bring?

The venue is at Sandrine’s family holiday home in Knysna. It will take place outside in the garden. We recommend bringing an extra layer for the evening. P.S. We will have mosquito spray on hand!

are children invited?

Regrettably, no children are invited.

what shoes should be worn?

The wedding venue has a wooden decking with small gaps, therefore we recommend flat shoes or wedges for ladies. Be aware that thin heels might get stuck in the deck.

if driving, where do we park?

There will be signs leading towards a common parking area in the estate (big grass field), around the corner from the wedding venue.

where do we smoke?

The venue is in a bird sanctuary/Knysna forest. The forest has had many wildfires. Therefore, there will be a dedicated smoking area on the day. Please respect the home and don’t throw any cigarette buds.

i have an allergy/food INTOLERANCE/DIETARY requirement?

Please mention when sending us your RSVP.

How to rsvp?

Please only RSVP through the ‘RSVP button’ on the top right corner of the website. Each guest must fill out the RSVP form individually.

Plus ones?

Due to the venue size and capacity, we sadly cannot invite any plus ones.

how do we get home?

We are planning on having a taxi bus service with two allocated pick-up time slots that will be able to take you back to your accommodation. Please keep an eye out closer to the date on the ‘The Wedding Schedule’, under ‘The Wedding Day’ event for the confirmed times.

Alternatively, you can book your own taxi or order an Uber. We want to make sure that everybody gets home safely.

what drinks will be available?

Please note that we will be providing welcome drinks, wine, beers, ciders & soft drinks. All hard liquor will be available for purchase using cash or card.
